MSU security consultancies take place during humanitarian operations in tense or hostile environments. Usually short to medium term, they are designed to perfectly meet your specific requirements. In any senior security staffing shortage situation we deliver additional capacities or accompany, coach and train your newly recruited security staff. All our consultants have in-depth understanding of, and significant experience with humanitarian agencies.
Our consultancies consist of one or more of the following subjects and may be combined with a training module as described under “Training courses”:

- Full security plans – based on the SRA, we set-up or review your location-specific plans.
- Contingency planning – pragmatic and comprehensible plans for: hibernation / relocation / evacuation, MEDEVAC, kidnapping, arrest, death of staff member.
- Assessments – region, country, context, armed actors, terrorism, stakeholders, geographic components, medical- and evacuation options, training needs of your staff for your existing or planned field bases. Full reports include comprehensive and specific recommendations.
- Full security audits – according to the best practice and tailor made to fully meet your requirements. Final reports include clear recommendations.
- Budgeting for Safety & Security – strategic advise and very pragmatic support to your agency when it comes to acquire funds to cover your security needs.
- Internal investigations – ask us for advise on any specific, sensitive tasks which may trouble you.
- Close protection / armed escorts – we don’t deliver this service but we advise and put you in contact with relevant providers upon demand.
